The Illinois Society of Fire Service Instructors is organized to create Fire Service Leaders through training, education, and professional development.

Our vision creates courses for the Illinois Fire Service to make all of us
better, safer, faster, and smarter.
Values
We center around the 8 Fire Service leadership values of loyalty, empathy, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal and moral courage.
Goals
To provide leadership, training and education through coordinated goals and efforts, information, member services, and networking with major fire service organizations within the State of Illinois. We accomplish these major goals by collaborating with and providing representation on the boards and committees of the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Illinois Fire Services Association and other related organizations.
