About the event
Fire Department Incident Safety Officer (ISO) is an OSFM certification course developed to assist those who are assigned this important and required emergency scene safety position. The course will help students acquire the technical and tactical knowledge required for this important leadership assignment. Those attending this course should have the goal to acquire knowledge, skills, ability, education, and desire current and contemporary training in the many responsibilities of this position.
Prerequisite for OSFM ISO certification is Current certification as Company Fire Officer.
ISO is a co-requisite to obtain both the OSFM Advanced Fire Officer (AdFO) and Fire Dept. Safety Officer Certifications.
