The Society’s Fire Service Instructor 3 program is designed to meet and exceed the requirements
outlined by the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal “OSFM” and NFPA 1020 (2025). Our Fire
Service Instructor 3 course provides students with the requisite knowledge and skills needed to
develop all aspects of training and education programs based on a fire service training needs
