Training Program Manager

Training Program Manager (TPM) is an OSFM certification course to understand all areas of management of a department training program. This certification is ideal for those who serve as the department training officer. The TPM course focuses on conducting needs assessments, department compliance with specific programs such as SCBA, driver training, live fire training and many other areas of training programs. Using the needs assessments as a guide, the TPM can develop a master schedule for training, assess existing and proposed programs to insure that all required needs are included in the training program.

Prerequisite for OSFM certification:

• Current certification as Fire Service Instructor II

• Documentation of a minimum of 3 cumulative years of experience beginning from Fire Service Instructor II certification date.
